A respected Technology Company with a focus on providing critical control solutions to a wide range of customers, seeks a detail orientated Quality Engineer to take responsibility for Quality Management System Compliance and improvement, driving up standards, ensuring delivery of conforming products to end customers.

The Quality Engineer will ideally bring the following skills and experience:
* Working knowledge of Quality Standards such us AS9100, AS9110, Part 21(G). Part 145.
* Working knowledge of AS9145, APQP, PPAP, FAIR, PFMEA.
* Implementing structured problem solving and robust Root Cause and Corrective Action techniques.
* QMS Implementation and auditing.
* Thorough understanding of Quality Tools and techniques.
* Basic understanding of software, mechanical, electrical, Systems and/or Composites.

The successful Quality Engineer will be responsible for generating and implementing quality plans to meet customer requirements; will determine quality improvement initiatives as well as completing the required First Article Inspections and ensuring smooth transition of new products into production.

A varied role for a customer focused Engineer with strong communication skills, knowledge of Telecom System Interfacing applications and with experience in the design, estimating and bid management of projects for projects such as transport hubs, stadia and defence sectors.

The successful Technical Bid Engineer will play a key role by supporting customers in the design of company products and solutions and by providing accurate and timely quotations and bids. You'll liaise with strategic end-users to influence requirements and to driver supplier preference; understanding the details and requirements for each tender as well as being involved with tender / proposal presentations.
