Applications are sought from well qualified FEA Engineers with a good appreciation of Analysis for the Offshore Industry.
You should have solid experience of non-linear structural analyses using Ansys FEA and will ideally have some experience of fatigue assessment of subsea structures subjected to complex loading ( static, dynamic, thermal).
You will be qualified to a minimum of BEng level in Mechanical Engineering, Subsea Engineering or similar Engineering subject and will benefit from holding a post-graduate qualification with a focus on Stress Analysis.
You must have excellent communication skills in order to interact with customers confidently and have the ability to solve challenging problems with enthusiasm.
The successful Analysis Engineers will work on the design and assessment of subsea exploration and production equipment including riser analysis using Flexcom as well as structural analysis using ANSYS.
An appreciation of design codes such as API, ASME or ISO would be advantageous.
