Location: London County: London Market: Embedded / RTOS Discipline: Software Salary: £30-40K + Benefits An established East London high-tech Company is seeking a Degree qualified Software Development Engineer with strong C++ skills together with a solid appreciation of Embedded Systems development.
The successful Software Engineer will be rewarded with an experience dependent salary of up to £40K with benefits to include a profit related bonus scheme, Personal Pension Scheme, 25 days holiday and flexible working.
As well as strong C++ coding skills you must have previous experience of contributing to a large scale object orientated design and be familiar with multi-threaded applications.
The role will involve full lifecycle development of the software relating to the high-level control and monitoring of the company's machines. You will design, develop, test and amend software to ensure the design is functional and meets with all appropriate standards and specifications and you will provide support to production departments and assist R&D departments as required.
You will benefit from previous exposure to TCP/IP and Sockets as well as having familiarity with UML, UI Frameworks including Win32/MFC and RS232/485 protocols.

Location: London County: London Market: Other Discipline: Mechanical Salary: £30K + Exp Dependent A leading Consultancy focused on the provision of pipeline, riser and subsea engineering applications for the Oil & Gas Industry is seeking a well qualified Pipeline Engineer to join their dedicated team. Applicants can choose to be located at either the London or Scotland company locations. Generous salaries from £30K upwards will be experience dependent.
Applications are sought from Engineers with a minimum of a 2.1 MEng in Engineering, Aeronautics, Naval Architecture, Mathematics or Physics and ideally with proven experience of working within a subsea pipeline design environment, although technically strong Engineers from a different background will be considered. The essential quality sought is excellent mathematical skills.
Your technical skills should include good knowledge of analysis software such as ABAQUS,MathCad, OLGA and/or Orcaflex as well as an appreciation of Visual Basic programming.
The role will involve working on all phases of the subsea systems from design through construction to operations covering subsea pipelines, risers, flexibles and umbilicals, subsea trees, subsea structures as well as floating production.
You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as good problem solving abilities.

Several exciting opportunities for exceptional Embedded Software Engineers with a renowned high-tech company, a World leader in Digital TV and STB technology development.
You will have a top class Degree with a minimum of a 1st / 2.1 BSc in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering discipline, which will have been gained from a red brick university and will be supported by excellent A Level's including good Maths / Science grades.
The successful applicants will join a talented team of highly motivated Engineers working on the development of high quality middleware solutions. This involves collaboration with International Engineers and therefore you must have excellent communication skills to liaise effectively.
