Senior Verification Engineer
Location: East Anglia County: Cambridgeshire Market: Verification Discipline: Test Salary: Commensurate with experience A highly successful and Globally renowned high-tech Company is seeking a Senior Verification Engineer to join its talented CPU design group in Cambridge.
Qualified to a minimum of a 1st / 2.1 in an Electronics Engineering or Computer Science related subject you will have proven project verification experience ideally on microprocessor based systems together with a solid background in Assembler and/or C programming.
You should also be familiar with scripting languages such as Perl or Python and will have experience of Unix / Linux working environments. An appreciation of System Verilog / Specman 'e' would be highly advantageous as would familiarity with RISC microprocessors.
The successful Verification Engineer will be a valuable member of a specialist team applying both hardware and software knowledge to verification tasks as well as ensuring all areas of the microprocessor are thoroughly verified. As a Senior Verification Engineer you will take responsibility for leading a small team of Engineers including mentoring junior engineers and ensuring projects are completed on time.
