QUALIFICATIONS SOUGHT:
Degree qualified in an Electronics Engineering related discipline.

TECHNICAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Proven experience of Electronic Circuit Design ( Test PCB's).
Ability to read product schematics and define test methods and test equipment.
Understanding of manufacturing requirements for documentation.
LabView 8 programming.

THE ROLE:

Senior Test Automation Developer

A Degree qualified Test Automation Developer is sought by a thriving Cambridge Wireless Communications Company.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software programming with proven experience of at least one high level language ( C or C++ ) together with experience of scripting langauges such as Python.

This Senior level role carries a rewarding salary of up to C£53K dependent upon experience.

The successful Test Automation Developer will take responsibility for developing and enhacing test automation systems in order to ensure they are fit for purpose; wll create test scripts to work with the automated test system, perform analysis of test results, carry out defect investigation as well as contribute to the continuous development of the department's processes.

You will hold a good Degree in a Software, Electronics, Mathematics or Science related subject and will have a good understanding of web based application development and data presentation languages.

It would also be beneficial to have experience of wireless communication protocols such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or UWB together with an understanding of processor architectiures and peripherals.

You will be required to develop software in Python to automate the testing facilities used to test the company's range of wireless chips. This software is developed for multiple operating systems ( Windows & Linux ) and makes use of standard databases, libraries and utilities.

Systems Technician

A Systems Technician with proven experience in the operation of high temperature, high pressure systems is sought by an established Company based in East Sussex focused on the design and manufacture of equipment for the metallurgy industry.

The successful individual to join this expanding production team will undertake a varity of tasks including: assembly and operation of the company's material processing systems, assisting with subsystem equipment tests, assisting with UK and overseas installation visits, site commissioning and customer training as well as general calibration of in-house process plant.

You will either hold an Engineering qualification or have served an apprenticeship coupled with technical experience with the focus on experience of high temperature / pressure systems ideally involving hot metals production.

The successful applicant will receive a salary of up to £25K together with benefits to include a profit sharing scheme and must be willing and able to travel globally to visit customers as required.

Good hands-on skills are as important as solid technical engineering skills and you will have the opportunity for continued career development as the company grows.
