An Applications Engineer with a strong interest in scripting languages, OOP and databases is sought by an established West Hertfordshire high-tech company to join their business information software team.
You will be qualified to Degree level in a Software Engineering, Systems or Information Technology discipline and will have proven experience of PHP, MySQL and JavaScript programming languages in a LAMP, SAMP or Linux environment.
The role will involve administering and developing new features in the php / MySql developed internal tools in a LAMP, SAMP environment; migrating features and data from existing tools into more maintained environments as well as creating and managing cross tool reports.
This Applications Engineer role would be ideal for an individual with a genuine interest in Systems and the way they operate.
TECHNICAL SKILLS SOUGHT:
