A thriving technology Company seeks a technically competent Business Development Manager with proven experience of building relationships with and winning Defence customer projects. Salary guide £45-65K (including Contractual Bonus) + Great Benefits + Commission.
This position is ideal for someone who is keen to build on their Business Development / Sales experience, where they have previously built relationships with Defence customers through military or defence industry experience.
Our Client, a highly successful high-tech manufacturing business within the wind power industry and other meteorological markets seeks a Degree qualified BDM to be their primary commercial contact for Defence related business.
You will present, promote and sell the products to existing and prospective customers; working to agreed sales targets as well as being responsible for maintaining key customer relationships by working with them to resolve technical challenges.
The ideal BDM will have strong communication and negotiation skills, will have an engaging personality as well as a good technical background ( Engineering Degree ) and a Marketing qualification would be a bonus.
The role will include some UK and overseas travel to customers, conferences, exhibitions etc.. The role will be 100% office based to begin with whilst building product knowledge.
