A Supplier Quality Manager is sought by our Client, a Global leader in the development and provision of Electrical Power Systems for the Aerospace Industry, to take responsibility for the Supplier Quality performance.

The successful Supplier Quality Manager will be rewarded with a competitive salary of up to C£50K (dependent upon experience) together with an excellent benefits package.

The ideal applicant will have a good commercial awareness, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead by example.

You must have previous experience of working within process capability improvement either in a Machining or an Electronics environment and will benefit from a background involving Aerospace Quality Management.

Working knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, yield improvement and Lean Implementation in a low volume environment are all beneficial.

An exciting new position for a well qualified and experienced QA Engineer with solid experience of complex Electronic / Software based systems, has arisen with a thriving high-tech company based in Berkshire, a leading Global provider of mobile video and videoconferencing products.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
You must be qualified to a minimum of a 1st or 2.1 Bachelors Degree in an Engineering discipline which will ideally have been gained from a leading UK University and will be supported by strong 'A' levels.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Proven experience of Quality Assurance in an Industrial, Mechanical or Electronic Engineering environment.
An Engineering background with a strong QA or analytical focus.
proven experience of complex electronic / software based systems.
Comprehensive knowledge of system and electronic related products with high values.
Customer focused.
Excellent communication skills.

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful Field Failure QA Engineer will take responsibility for the field failure analysis of a range of products on behalf of the Infrastructure Design and Development Group.
You will evaluate root cause and recommend creative solutions, drive and improve the KPI system for field reliability as well as implementing procedure changes and improvement projects to support continual improvement.

You will be expected to utilise your strong analytical engineering skills to chase down faults and investigate statistical information. As all the manufacturing is currently outsourced, you will play an integral part in ensuring secure field reliability of new products.

A Quality Improvement Leader is sought by an established Cambridge high-tech company to lead the Process Improvement activities to ensure consistency of company performance and efficiency.

Applications are sought from Degree qualified individuals with a professional qualification and proven experience of working in an engineering based quality role. A Six Sigma Black Belt holder would be ideal.

You will be familiar with Reliability Analysis, Yield Improvements, Process Analysis, Supplier Quality, Product and Process Audit as well as data analysis.

You will provide a valuable interface with Contract Manufacturers, Suppliers and Customers; monitor product, service and process performance against defined standards as well as playing an integral part in the assessment, development and assurance of the company's processes to meet the exacting demands of the customers, management, shareholders and employees.

You must have excellent communication skills in order to liaise effectively with others, be a good team player, have good software skills and be happy to get involved in a hands-on style.
