Our Client, an established and thriving high-tech company, is seeking several hands-on Process Engineers of various levels to join their dedicated Manufacturing team in Cambridgeshire.
It is essentail to come from a Semiconductor / Wafer Fab related environment and to be competent with 6 Sigma and SPC methodologies.

Successful Process Engineers will be rewarded with a competitive salary of up to £40K ( for the Senior Engineer roles ) together with excellent benefits including Life Cover, Permanent Health Insurance, Private Medical Cover, Contributory Pension Scheme, Share based incentives and a bonus opportunity.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
You will ideally be qualified to Degree level in an Engineering subject ( Process Engineering, Manufacturing / Production Engineering, Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering ).

YOUR EXPERIENCE:
Proven experience of working in a Manufacturing / Engineering environment.
Working in the semiconductor industry, Wafer Fab or lighting.
Problem Solving technoques such as Six Sigma.
Data analysis skills: SPC / FMEA.
Lean Manufacturing techniques.
Understanding of thermal controls and adhesive processes.

Flexibility and decisiveness.
Highly numerate and excellent analytical skills.

Process Engineer

A well qualified Process Engineer with previous experience of working in a cleanroom environment within a high-tech industry is sought by an established Cambridgeshire company working on the development of the latest printing processes for OLED displays.

The ideal applicant will hold a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Physics, Material/ Process Engineering or a similar discipline and will have 2+ years proven experience of Process development in a high-tech environment.

You will have the ability to plan and run scientific experiments to reach accurate conclusions and will be familiar with metrology tools.

Exposure to semiconductor device fabrication processes and thin film analysis would be a distinct advantage as would some knowledge of high level programming languages such as Visual Basic.

The successful Process Engineer will be involved with a range of activities including: evaluating new materials and fluids, metrology and characterisation of thin films, interferometry, analysing printed displays and test cells as well as ensuring all risk assessments are completed and work is undertaken within safety regulations.

Applications are sought from Process Engineers with excellent qualifications, good communication skills, an appreciation of inkjet printing and knowledge of DOE methods.

An acknowledged Cambridge Company working on the development of Organic Electronic Devices is seeking a highly qualified and confident Scientist / Engineer to join their Device Physicist Group.

Ideally holding a PhD or equivalent research experience in Materials Science, Engineering or Semiconductor Physics you will have proven experience of working in the fields of polymer or molecular electronics together with a good understanding of characterisation techniques.

You will be part of a talented team of Scientists devising and executing experiments to develop high performance organic electronic devices including PLEDs, OTFTs and OPVs.

You will be familiar with working in a cleanroom facility and have excellent problem solving skills.

You will be required to work well within a multidisciplinary team and will have excellent planning and organisational skills.
