The ideal individual will bring practical experience of training and technical writing; will have the ability to take complex issues and break them down into a series of simple concepts as well as being able to draw explanatory diagrams of concepts and of physical items.

In this Product Training role you will work with product managers and developers to anticipate market needs for training around products and features and will liaise with systems and support engineers to identify customers knowledge gaps.

Material will include written, web- based and video content ­ therefore you should be able to script, shoot and edit video and audio content for items more effectively explained in these forms.

This is a great opportunity for someone who gains satisfaction from delivering technical information in a clear way and who also enjoys writing.

You must be willing and able to travel nationally and Internationally to deliver training as required.

Consideration will also be given to candidates with a sound technical background or hardware design experience who want to move into this area.

Working within a small team to develop voice alarm and related security products, you will write and conduct EMC / Safety test plans, will liaise with certification bodies and customer product approval organisations to ensure product compliance; will conduct functional testing on new or updated hardware and software as well as organising external activities by certification bodies.

Key experience will include: EN 54 product approvals, CE assessments, EMC & Product Safety.
