A leading Consultancy is seeking a Principal Analytical Engineer with excellent numerical and engineering skills to join their Product Development Group working on an exciting range of development projects.

The ideal candidate will have a top class degree in a numerical or engineering subject and will benefit from also having gained a post-graduate qualification in a numerical discipline. You must have excellent practical engineering skills as well as proven experience of working within a commercial environment.

Your technical skills must include the ability to solve fluid and thermodynamic problems, with a solid theoretical grounding in CFD.

As a Principal Engineer you will be required to lead a talented team through all aspects of the development life cycle; build good working relationships with Clients, understanding their individual needs and delivering quality products on time and within budget.

You must be an excellent communicator with the ability to achieve excellent results in a highly demanding industry and be willing and able to solve challenging problems with confidence and enthusiasm.

Your CFD expertise will ideally include good knowledge of commercial codes such as Fluent, CFX or STAR and you will also ideally have an appreciation of 3D CAD using Pro-Engineer and/ or SolidWorks.
