A rewarding opportunity for a well educated and technically competent Software Engineering Manager exists with a renowned Cambridge company, a World leader in the High-Technology Digital product development sector.

The ideal applicant will be qualified to a minimum of 1st / 2.1 Degree level in Computer Science ( or similar) and will have a proven background of software development ( including design specification, coding, testing and debugging) as well as having a good understanding of microprocessor architectures.
As well as being a competent team leader you should also be comfortable working creatively with your peers and representing your team with key customers.
You will be an excellent communicator and be able to effectively provide novel solutions to specific customer requirements.
It would be highly advantageous to have some knowledge of simulator design, compiler technology, device drivers or CPU architectures as well as having familiarity with embedded software development .

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE:
Qualified to Degree level in Mathematics, Electronics, Software or similar scientific subject.
Previous experience of developing software.

THE ROLE:
The successful Support Manager will interface with Field Applications Engineers and customers ensuring successful delivery of the software releases with a focus on the content, documentation and testing.
You will be responsible for release planning, making software refresh builds, producing the relevant release notices, ensuring appropriate testing is performed as well as taking responsibility for interfacing with the FAEs, marketing and customers as necessary.
