A Hardware Engineer with excellent Verilog, VHDL and FPGA experience is sought by an established South West based company, a leader in the Wireless Communications Industry. A competitive salary of up to C£25K will be offered dependent upon experience.

QUALIFICATIONS SOUGHT:
Ideally qualified to a minimum of Degree level in Electronics Engineering, Communications Engineering or Computer Science.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
Solid understanding of Spartan 3 FPGA architecture.
Strong Verilog and VHDL skills.
Full Design Cycle from RTL through Synthesis and Implementation.
Design Optimisation techniques to achieve timing closure.
Xilinx EDK, Xilinx ISE, Synplify Premier, ModelSim.

PERSONAL QUALITIES:
Ability to work well without supervision.
Good communication skills.
Willingness to be flexible.
Ability to think outside the box.

A Hardware Development Engineer with excellent Digital Design experience is sought by an established Cambridgeshire Company, a leader in the field of PC based test equipment and data acquisition systems.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to Degree level in an Electronics Engineering subject and have a minimum of 2 years proven industrial experience of FPGA code design in VHDL as well as having a good understanding of Analogue Circuit design for data acquisition.

The successful applicant will be part of an accomplished team of engineers and must be a good communicator and have excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work well indenpendently as well as in a team environment.

Technical skills should include Digital design using microcontrollers, memory, FPGAs and ADCs; Analogue Circuit Design; PCB layout as well as FPGA code design in VHDL.

It would also be beneficial to have familiarity with Windows programming in C++ and C# for interfacing to hardware and having an appreciation of USB and wireless interfaces.

The successful applicant will receive a salary of up to £35K dependent upon their experience level and this will be supported by a generous benefits package.
