Continued growth of a manufacturer of computer products has opened up a new vacancy for an Electronics Engineering Technician with some practical experience of digital electronics, SMT assembly work, fault finding and the use of PCs and their Operating Systems.
You should hold a minimum of an ONC/OND and applications are welcome from Engineers straight from College who are quick learners as well as those with industrial experience.
The role will grow over time to open up the opportunity to work on a more diverse range of projects.

Ideal Requirements include:
* Minimum of ONC/OND in Electronics or similar.
* The ability to use PCs and their operating system (Windows and/or Linux), including installation.
* Knowledge of Digital Electronics including the use of test equipment.
* PTH/SMT assembly or re-work down to 0402 size components.
* Fault finding on microprocessor- based circuit boards.
* Familiarity with installation and fault-finding of microcomputer system software.
* Ability to organise, communicate effectively and be a quick learner.

A Digital DSP Engineer with extensive experience of DSP Algorithm simulation in Matlab and with an understanding of communication systems engineering will join an established Technology Company, leaders in Satellite communications development.

In this role the successful DSP Engineer will take responsibility for implementing communication signal processing algorithms (such as FFT, filters, DDC etc) efficiently in VHDL; designing and developing a range of modules and equipment for digital IF as well as carrying out detailed design in MATLAB.

Ideally qualified to Masters Degree level in an Engineering related discipline and with several years industrial experience, the Digital DSP Engineer will bring experience of the following:
* DSP Algorithm simulation in MATLAB.
* Good understanding of wideband digitization.
* Implementation of communication DSP algorithms in VHDL.
* DSP design and implementation in FPGA for communications algorithms.

The successful Solutions Architect will bring proven knowledge of x86 architectures (including PCI Express), networking architectures, VPX technologies and embedded software applications.

The successful Technical Solutions Architect (x86 architecture) will use their technical expertise to advise on development systems and customer turnkey solutions; taking responsibility for checking the various technical aspects of the systems RFQs received and will coordinate progress with the various teams involved.

Key Technical Requirements include:
* Knowledge of Microprocessor x86 architectures (ideally including PCI Express).
