Applications are sought from Degree qualified DSP Engineers with proven experience of C programming, MATLAB and SIMULINK together with good digital communications knowledge.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS: You will hold a minimum of a 1st / 2.1 Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or similar relevant subject and will benefit from a post graduate qualification with some Signal Processing content.
IDEAL SKILLS SOUGHT: Digital Signal Processing. System design. C programming. Structured software design. MATLAB / SIMULINK. Development of modems and digital communications. Use of standard test equipment and debuggers.
PERSONAL QUALITIES: Clear communication skills. Concise documentation skills. Good team player. Good problem solving abilities.
The successful applicant will join a dedicated cross disciplinary team working on the L1 / PHY layer of a new product involving liaison across several sites. You will work on the planning, architecture, detailed design and implementation and will have a clear understanding of a product development life-cycle. Travel between sites ( both within UK and overseas) will be required.

Applications are sought from Engineers with a top class degree in Communications Engineering, DSP, Computer Science or a similar scientific subject and ideally supported by a relevant Masters / PhD with an emphasis on Wireless Communications Research.
You must have solid experience of DSP programming for wireless applications together with good C programming knowledge and exposure to MATLAB. It would be highly advantageous to have had experience of the higher layers of the 3GPP protocols stacks or other system level experience as well as having a solid understanding of WCDMA physical layer.
The successful PHY Firmware Engineer will be a key member of the team working on the design and implementation of the core radio transmit and receive algorithms for the physical layer of the company's 3G products.
